Jiang Baoguo served as the chairman of the 7th Traumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the 12th Chairman of the Orthopedic Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, and the director of the National Center for Traumatic Medicine, the chairman of the Chinese Trauma Treatment Alliance, and the president of the Trauma Surgeon Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
Jiang Baoguo has been engaged in trauma clinical medical research for more than 30 years, committed to academic research to reduce the mortality rate and disability rate of trauma, and is an academic leader in the field of clinical multiple injury treatment in China. Important achievements have been made in the field of peripheral nerve injury repair technology, periarticular fracture diagnosis and treatment technology, and the construction of severe trauma treatment system. He won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award (2016) and 3 first prizes at the provincial and ministerial level with the first finisher; He has won the Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2017, he was awarded the National Health System Advanced Worker. In 2020, he was commended by the Party Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission as “National Advanced Individuals in Fighting the COVID-19 Epidemic”.
