Beihang 2023 Qiangji Plan Enrollment Guide was released, and online registration began on April 11


On April 7, Beihang University’s 2023 Qiangji Program Enrollment Brochure was released. From April 11 to 30, interested candidates can log in to the Beihang Qiangji Program registration system to complete the online registration as required.
The Paper noted that Beihang Qiangji Plan enrollment majors in 2023 are mathematics and applied mathematics, information and computing science, applied physics, chemistry, engineering mechanics, and aircraft power engineering. Candidates who apply for the Beihang Qiangji Program cannot apply for other universities at the same time, and candidates can only fill in 1 professional volunteer of the Beihang Qiangji Program.
The first category is candidates with excellent college entrance examination results, solid professional foundation, innovative ability and outstanding comprehensive quality. The second category is candidates with outstanding talents and performance in related subject areas, that is, candidates who have won the first and second prizes in the national finals of the National Youth Discipline Olympiad (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics). The corresponding application conditions for each enrollment major are shown in the following table:

Candidates are required to take the unified college entrance examination and confirm whether to participate in the Beihang Qiangji Program school examination and sign a letter of commitment of integrity in the registration system between June 12 and 20 this year. Those who fail to complete the examination confirmation or sign the letter of commitment within the specified time will be deemed to have automatically given up their qualifications for shortlisted school examination. For those who confirm to participate in the school assessment and abandon the examination without reason, Beihang will notify the examination enrollment agency of the student’s province of origin in accordance with relevant regulations and truthfully record it in the integrity file.
Regarding the shortlisted school examination methods, Beihang Admission Brochure clarifies that the college entrance examination results of the first category of candidates must meet the following conditions at the same time: the candidate’s college entrance examination score without policy bonus points reaches the minimum control score line for undergraduate admission in the province, autonomous region or municipality where the candidate is located (or the corresponding special type minimum admission control score line); Candidates’ college entrance examination scores without policy extra points reach 80% or more of the total score of the same subject in the same category in their province, autonomous region or municipality (Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Xinjiang candidates’ college entrance examination scores without policy extra points reach more than 75% of the total score of the same subject in their province or autonomous region).
The second category of candidates without policy bonus points in the college entrance examination must reach the minimum admission control score line (or the corresponding special type minimum admission control score line) of the province, autonomous region or municipality where they are located.
In terms of school examination methods, Beihang adopts the method of on-site testing to organize the assessment in principle, including written test, interview and physical fitness test, and evaluates the candidate’s comprehensive quality file. The school assessment (including registration) will be conducted between June 30 and July 2, and candidates must bring relevant materials to participate in the school assessment as required.
Based on the candidates’ comprehensive results, Beihang will announce the admission results and announce the admission criteria around July 5 in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. Candidates who are formally admitted will no longer participate in the subsequent college entrance examination voluntary admission in their province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government); Candidates who are not admitted can normally participate in the subsequent batches of college entrance examination voluntary admission in the province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government).
