First in Shanghai and fourth in the country! Tongji University has added 55 national first-class undergraduate courses


Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the second batch of national first-class undergraduate courses. A total of 55 courses were selected by Tongji University, ranking fourth in China and first in Shanghai. Together with the 54 national-level first-class undergraduate courses selected in the first batch, the total number of first-class courses selected by Tongji reached 109.

Among the national-level first-class undergraduate courses selected this time, there are 20 online courses, 15 offline courses, 13 online and offline hybrid courses, 4 virtual simulation experiment teaching courses, and 3 social practice courses. The specific list is as follows:

Online first-class courses (20 courses)

Offline Courses (15 courses)

Hybrid online and offline first-class courses (13 courses)

First-class courses in virtual simulation experiment teaching (4 courses)

First-class courses in social practice (3 courses)

Curriculum is the core element of talent training, and the quality of courses directly determines the quality of talent training. In recent years, in order to promote the training of outstanding top-notch talents in the curriculum, the school has based itself on the new situation and new tasks and new requirements, centered on student growth, broken disciplinary restrictions and professional barriers, built a full-chain integrated curriculum system of “integration of general and specialty, cross-compounding, and thorough research”, deepened education and teaching reform, and improved the connotation construction of talent training.
