In October 2023, the Journal of Intelligent Construction, sponsored by Tsinghua University and the Chinese Society of Engineering Dams, and published by Tsinghua University Press, passed the evaluation of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the world’s most influential open access journal database, and was officially included in the DOAJ database.
Launched in 2023, the Journal of Intelligent Construction focuses on the application of advanced theories, technologies and equipment such as machine learning, sensors, robotics, 5G, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, building information modeling, and numerical methods in the full life cycle of water conservancy, structure, geotechnical, transportation, construction and other engineering fields, including planning and design, construction, operation and maintenance, demolition, and disaster mitigation. The Journal of Intelligent Construction aims to share knowledge, experience and insights on the latest developments in intelligent construction with researchers, engineers, architects and other stakeholders, and is committed to publishing high-quality research on the integration of technology and intelligence in the construction industry. In addition to publishing original research articles, the Journal of Intelligent Construction will also publish reviews, engineering case studies, research highlights, and reviews from various aspects of the field.
