In response to the urgent demand for the construction of ultra-precision motion systems for next-generation wafer processing, the team plans to further strengthen its research strength in high-end equipment intelligent manufacturing, recruit postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad, and sincerely invite outstanding young scholars to join!

The news shows that the team of Professor Koichi Matsuda, who previously joined Hunan University, has started formal recruitment.

According to the information provided by the official website of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Hunan University, Koichi Matsuda, male, Ph.D., from Tokyo, Japan, is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Hunan University, and a leader of Yuelu scholars.

Koichi Matsuda received his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University of Science and Technology in Japan, and then entered the Department of Intelligent Machinery and Systems of Kyushu University as an assistant professor, entered Magnifye Cambridge Ltd in 2012 as an electrical design engineer, joined Bosch Corporation of Japan as a senior engineer in 2016, and served as a manager and chief engineer of Minebea Sanmi Co., Ltd. in Japan in 2017. He served as Chief Engineer from August 2021 to Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and joined the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Hunan University as a professor in September 2022.

Hunan University introduced that in terms of academics, Koichi Matsuda has long been engaged in the research work in the field of special motor optimization design and intelligent control, with a high academic level and rich engineering experience, and is an expert in many research directions, including the research of key technologies for track stability control operation, the research on vibration suppression/positioning controller for large space flexible structures, the theoretical research on interpolation of trajectory control of space robots, the research on key technologies for semiconductor cleanroom robot wafer transfer, The basic theory and key technology research of high-power high-temperature superconducting direct drive fan have made outstanding contributions to the research work of a number of international neck problems, and have achieved a number of cutting-edge and innovative, scientific and engineering application value research results, a total of 168 international high-level academic papers (more than 120 SCI papers), including more than 80 SCI papers published by the first/corresponding author, including more than 70 IEEE Transactions industry top journal articles. It has been highly concerned and recognized by peers in the academic and engineering circles.

Koichi Matsuda is mainly engaged in the research work in the field of optimization design and intelligent control of large-scale special motors, and its research direction meets the needs of China’s energy strategic development and overcomes a series of key technical problems that China urgently needs to solve. Research directions include: superconducting magnetic levitation high-speed motor, precision table control, special motor optimization and design, semiconductor clean room robot wafer transfer key technology research, factory automation production.
