The Ministry of Culture and Tourism went to the Central University of Finance to carry out cultural and tourism research


On April 6, Ma Qinlin, Director General of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and relevant personnel came to the Central University of Finance and Economics to conduct inspection and research on matters related to promoting and establishing a cultural and tourism research base and deepening cooperation between ministries and universities.

At the symposium, He Xiuchao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Central University of Finance and Economics, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for its trust and support to the university, and said that Central University of Finance and Economics will take this inspection and meeting as an opportunity to seriously do a good job in the relevant work of the base, and especially looks forward to more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in talent training, scientific research cooperation, social services, senior administration decision-making and other aspects. Ma Qinlin looks forward to close contact and strengthen exchanges with the Central University of Finance and Economics in scientific research, talent training, employment training, designated assistance and other aspects, so as to promote more results in in-depth cooperation between the two sides.
In his speech, Wei Pengju, chief expert of the research base, reported on the construction of the “Culture and Tourism Research Base”. According to reports, the Cultural Economy Research Institute of Central University of Finance and Economics was established in November 2006, and the National Cultural Innovation Research Center was established in 2012. Since its establishment, the Institute has closely focused on the strategic needs of national culture and tourism, integrated multiple forces, given full play to talent aggregation and high-end academic advantages, actively carried out forward-looking and applied academic theoretical research, and participated in government decision-making consultation and policy design. It has undertaken more than 60 research projects entrusted by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Ministry of Finance, and has made achievements in many fields such as cultural finance, cultural industry development and cultural statistics.
At the symposium, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, schools and colleges conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on relevant research and cooperation matters. Members of the base research team also participated in the study activities and symposiums.
