I. Introduction to Wuzhen Laboratory

Wuzhen Laboratory is located in Tongxiang City, where the World Internet Conference is permanently held, with superior location conditions and convenient transportation, the laboratory was jointly initiated by the Tongxiang Municipal People’s Government, the School of Materials science of Tsinghua University, and the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute of Zhejiang Tsinghua University, and completed the registration of public institutions in April 2021. 
 
The laboratory focuses on the field of cutting-edge materials, relying on the advantages of the Changsan Institute in the allocation of scientific and technological innovation resources, and unites top universities at home and abroad such as the School of Materials science and electronic engineering of Tsinghua University, as well as key leading enterprises in related fields, to give full play to the important innovation ecological advantages of Tongxiang City as a regional innovation system, as well as the driving effect of the World Internet and Industrial Internet Conference, and strive to build a major scientific research platform in the field of cutting-edge materials with industry leadership within five years.

1. According to the overall development goals of Wuzhen Laboratory, carry out research on cutting-edge topics in the field of metamaterials, make significant and innovative work, and actively strive for major, key and cutting-edge projects and topics in the country.
2. Talent training and introduction, and lead the completion of the construction of scientific and technological innovation teams.
3. Guide the research work of young researchers according to the needs of scientific research.
4. Undertake scientific research tasks and play an innovative role in them.
5. Complete the organization of various academic activities, and rotate or work part-time as the head of the academic department or management department as needed.
6. Complete the work tasks and objectives of the post.
 
Nature of work: full-time

1. Those who hold assistant professors or above or equivalent positions in high-level universities or research institutes at home and abroad; intermediate professional and technical personnel of internationally renowned enterprises and institutions; and outstanding talents of young and middle-aged people at home and abroad.
2. Experience in research and development of metamaterials.
3. Doctoral degree, equivalent to the title of deputy senior or above is preferred.
4. Have independent scientific research ability and good team spirit.

Distinguished Associate Researcher

1. According to the overall development goals of Wuzhen Laboratory, carry out research on cutting-edge topics in the field of metamaterials, make more prominent and innovative work, and actively strive for national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and topics.
2. Attach importance to talent training and introduction, and assist in the construction of scientific and technological innovation teams.
3. Guide the research work of young researchers according to the needs of scientific research.
4. Undertake scientific research tasks and play an innovative role in them.
5. Complete the organization of various academic activities, and rotate or work part-time as the head of the academic department or management department as needed.
6. Complete the work tasks and objectives of the post.
 
Nature of work: full-time

1. Have professional background in physics, applied physics, microelectronics, electronics, optoelectronics, optical engineering, precision instruments, material science and other related professional backgrounds. Experience in metamaterial research is preferred.
2. Doctoral degree, 3 years or more of research and work experience in related majors is preferred.
3. Emerge in this subject area, with strong scientific research ability and great development potential.
4. Have strong independent scientific research ability and good team spirit.

Research Assistant

2 to 3 people

1. Engage in basic research or engineering research and development related to metamaterials, complete the work required by the research group, and form high-level research results.
2. Under the guidance of senior researchers, do a good job in various scientific research auxiliary work and transactional work.
 
Nature of work: full-time

1. Have relevant professional background in physics, applied physics, microelectronics, electronics, optoelectronics, optical engineering, precision instruments, material science and so on. Experience in metamaterial research is preferred.
2. Master degree or above is preferred, and relevant metamaterial research and development experience is preferred.
3. Work seriously, have a strong sense of responsibility, and have strong hands-on ability.
4. Willing to learn and have a team spirit.
5. Physical and mental health, strong language expression ability, dedication and love.

engineer

2 to 3 people

1. Mainly engaged in metamaterials related engineering research and development and experimental work.
2. Operate and maintain various types of experimental equipment.
 
Nature of work: full-time

1. Have relevant professional background in physics, applied physics, microelectronics, electronics, optoelectronics, optical engineering, precision instruments, machinery, material science and so on. Experience in metamaterial research is preferred.
2. Bachelor degree or above is preferred, relevant metamaterials, micro-processing R&D experience is preferred, and practical experience is preferred.
3. Work seriously, have a strong sense of responsibility, and have strong hands-on ability.
4. Willing to learn and have a team spirit.
5. Physical and mental health, strong language expression ability, dedication and love.

3. Treatment of talents

(i) Remuneration:

(1) Provide market-competitive salary and treatment, specific negotiable. 
 
(2) The laboratory assists in the declaration of talent projects, and can enjoy the implementation of the same type of talent introduction policy in Tongxiang City in accordance with relevant policies. 
 
(2) Extra-salary allowance: For master’s and doctoral talents who come to work in the laboratory, they will be given an extra-salary allowance within 3 years (100,000 yuan for doctoral degrees; 60,000 yuan for full-time master’s degree students; 30,000 yuan for double-first-class full-time undergraduate students. For doctors with postdoctoral certificates, a maximum of 200,000 yuan of scientific research funding will be given. 
 
(3) Housing purchase (settlement) subsidy: For master’s and doctoral talents who come to work in the laboratory, a housing subsidy of up to 350,000 yuan is given for doctoral degrees; up to 150,000 yuan for master’s degrees; and a housing subsidy of up to 100,000 yuan for double-first-class full-time undergraduates. 
 
(4) Rental subsidy: For master’s and doctoral talents who come to work in the laboratory, a rental subsidy of 1000 yuan / month for doctorates, subsidies for up to 3 years; 800 yuan / month for masters, the subsidy period is up to 3 years; and a rental subsidy of 600 yuan / month for undergraduate students of double-first-class universities is given, and the subsidy period is up to 3 years. 
 
(5) Welfare: The laboratory pays social insurance for employees in accordance with regulations, purchases housing provident fund, and enjoys welfare such as holiday condolences.


4. Procedures for introducing and hiring talents

(1) Submit resume:

Applicants need basic materials: resume, academic degree certificate, ID card copy; proof materials: articles, invention patents, award certificates and other related materials of electronic documents sent to the corresponding unit contact resume delivery mailbox. (2) Qualification review and employment assessment:

Wuzhen Laboratory conducts a preliminary examination, and those who pass the preliminary examination will be notified of the interview by telephone or E-mail. The recruitment working group and relevant ministries and departments will interview the candidates, and the party-government joint committee will select the best candidates to determine the candidates.

(iii) Decide on employment:

After the inspection is passed, the personnel to be hired will be physically examined and publicized, and the personnel to be hired shall conduct a physical examination with reference to the requirements of the physical examination standards for the recruitment of civil servants. After there is no objection, sign an employment contract (agreement) and go through the registration procedures.
