He stressed that the high-end forum is closely related to the “new era, new track, and new journey” in the report of the 20th National Congress. In the new era, the world is accelerating reconstruction, and how the media faces such a complex and changeable situation is both a great challenge and an unprecedented opportunity. With the advent of the new technological revolution, the era is undergoing fundamental changes, and new discoveries, new explorations, new theories, and new practices are happening all the time. Entering a new journey, China is moving onto the world stage and will surely become the focus and center of public opinion. The great cause of a century-old rejuvenation will become a reality by the middle of this century, and media personnel will surely become the protagonists of the public opinion field of the centennial rejuvenation. Whether the media can grasp the characteristics, let all sectors of society understand the mainstream of social development, use positive energy to guide social development, and give voice to China, the task cannot be described as heavy. It is hoped that this forum can promote the media to open up a new track in the new era, display the style of new media in the new journey, and promote the development of journalism and communication.

Gan Hui, Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Social Sciences, pointed out in his speech: It is the proper meaning of news and publicity work to build an all-media communication system with content construction as the foundation, advanced technology as the support, innovation management as the guarantee, integrated development in form, three-dimensional and diversified, and systematically promoting media integration towards in-depth development. Wang Runze, president of the China Press History Society, pointed out in his speech: The all-media communication system is a news media development model created based on China’s national conditions. Professor Bie Chaohong, vice president of Xi’an Jiaotong University, presided over the opening ceremony and pointed out: Studying, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress is the most important political task of the whole party and the whole country at present and for some time to come.
